Ministry Of Finance's DGT Urges Employees To Immediately Activate Cross Accounts

The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of the Ministry of Finance appealed to groups of employees to immediately activate the beliax account for the smooth reporting of taxes.

Along with the DGT beliax system implemented this year, proof of cutting income tax (PPh) was created through three methods, namely manual input directly in the application, uploading XML files for taxpayers with large transaction numbers, and through Tax Application Service Providers (PJAP).

Director of Counseling, Services, and Public Relations of DGT Dwi Astuti in her statement in Jakarta, Tuesday, February 4, said that for employees or recipients of income who have not been registered in the quintex system, making cut evidence can still be done using the Population Identification Number (NIK).

However, in this case, the system will automatically use the Temporary Taxpayer Basic Number (NPWP), which results in cut evidence not to be included in the Annual SPT for income recipients automatically.

"Therefore, so that income recipients can report SPT with prepopulated cut evidence on their SPT, we urge the recipients of income to immediately activate the account at the DGT quintex," he said, quoted by Antara.

As of February 3, 2025 at 23.59 WIB, the amount of proof of withholding income tax that has been issued for the January 2025 tax period reached 1,259,578 pieces of evidence.

Of this number, 263,871 pieces of evidence were issued by government agencies, consisting of 199,177 proofs of withholding income tax 21 for permanent employees, 46,936 proofs of withholding income tax 21 for non-permanent employees, and 17,758 proof of withholding PPh unification.

Meanwhile, non-institutional taxpayers issued 995,707 pieces of evidence, consisting of 528,976 pieces of PPh 21 for permanent employees, 99,559 proofs of PPh 21 cut for non-permanent employees, 415 proof of withholding PPh 26 for foreign taxpayers, and 366,757 proof of withholding PPh unification.
