PNBP ESDM Sector Drops. This Is The Culprit!
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) reports that the realization of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) in the ESDM sector has decreased compared to 2023. Throughout 2024, revenue from the ESDM sector was recorded at IDR 269.6 trillion from the previous year which reached IDR 299.5 trillion.
Despite the decline, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia said this figure was still above the target set in the APBN.
"The target exceeds 115 percent of the 2024 target in the APBN. Thank God it has increased," Bahlil said at a press conference at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Monday, February 3.
Bahlil said that this decline was mostly contributed by the mineral and coal sector, which decreased from the previous year which was recorded at IDR 172.1 trillion to IDR 140.5 trillion. The decline in PNBP has decreased due to the decline in global commodity prices.
Bahlil detailed that the largest PNBP ESDM was contributed by the mineral and coal sector of IDR 140.5 trillion, followed by the oil and gas sector of IDR 110.9 trillion, then the New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) sector of IDR 2.8 trillion and other sectors of IDR 15.4 trillion.
