Joint SAR Team Finds Drifting Residents In A Death Condition In Pasaman

The joint SAR team found the missing victim in the river on behalf of Agusti Hirwanto (64) in a state of death in the Lubuk Kasai Padang Kaloko River and the Nagari Koto Kaciak Collection, Bonjol District, West Sumatra Pasaman Regency on Sunday (26/1) at around 11.45 WIB.

Head of the Pasaman SAR Post Novi Yurandi in Lubuk Attitude Sunday said the victim was found about one kilometer from the last position the victim was declared missing in the river.

"The victim was found dead at around 11.45 WIB, earlier," said Novi Yurandi.

Currently, the victim's body is being evacuated from the riverbank to the Bonjol Health Center for further investigation.

"We are currently evacuating the victim's body to the Bonjol Health Center, before the funeral is carried out," he added.

Dozens of members of the Joint Search and Rescue Team for Basarnas, BPBD, TNI-Polri, PMI, and the community participated in the search for victims until they were found this afternoon.

Two BPBD Pasaman rubber boats with the team were also dispatched to the scene.

Basarnas Pos Pasaman also deployed a thermal drone device to track the whereabouts of the victim's body.

Previously, Agusti Hirwanto (64), who is usually called Anto Palala, a resident of the old Nagari Koto Kaciak Barat Village, Bonjol District, Pasaman Regency, was declared missing while looking for or fishing in the river on Saturday (25/1/2025) at 18.00 WIB yesterday.

After the incident, a search was carried out for victims from the Pasaman BPBD together with a number of local residents.
