Minister Of Religion: Ramadan Holidays Announced No Later Than Monday
Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar said the holy month of Ramadan holiday would be announced no later than Monday.
"Tomorrow at the latest Monday we will announce it," said Nasaruddin as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, January 17.
In line with Nasaruddin, Minister of Elementary and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu'ti has also said the government has ratified decisions related to learning during Ramadan for school children next week.
He said that later the government's decision was marked by the signing of a joint decree (SKB) of three ministers, namely the Minister of Education and Culture, the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) and the Minister of Religion (Menag).
In preparing the decision, the Ministry of Education and Culture coordinated with four other ministries, namely the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK), the Ministry of Religion, the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) and the Presidential Staff Office (KSP).
