Cool, Kingston Masters The 21-year-old DRAM Module Market In A Row

JAKARTA - Kingston Technology, a memory product company and technology solutions, has managed to rank as the top third-party DRAM module supplier in the world, according to the latest revenue rating from analyst firm TrendForce.

Thus, this award proves that Kingston has consistently managed for 21 consecutive years to become a global leader in the DRAM module supplier industry.

According to the report, the top ten memory module companies in the world accounted for 93 percent of total sales by 2023, Kingston maintained market share dominance by 68.8 percent.

"The findings from TrendForce 2023 show the strength and adaptability of the company that continues in the midst of a challenging business year," the company said in a written statement on Tuesday, December 24.

This award proves that Kingston Technology's performance managed to maintain its position as supplier number 1, although DRAM module sales decreased by about 28 percent in 2023.

The decline in sales was mainly due to an inventory correction phase in the post-pandemic consumer electronics sector. This situation is exacerbated by the high level of utilization among DRAM suppliers, which accelerates price reduction. However, the market began to show recovery in the second half of 2023.

In 2023, Kingston expanded its portfolio by launching Kingston FURY Renegade Pro DDR5 RDIMM, memory DDR5 server-grade that can be overclocked, specifically designed for creators, engineers, and data science professionals to support the needs of modern applications.

In addition, Kingston presents Premier Server DDR5 4800MT/s Registered DIMMs in 64GB, 32GB, and 16GB capacities, which have been validated for use with 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors.

"This achievement not only confirmed Kingston's dominant position in the market, but also emphasized the company's resilience and important role in the industry, because we are proud to maintain our top position for 21 consecutive years," the company concluded.
