Live Shopping And Affiliate Program Boost TikTok And Tokopedia Online Sales
JAKARTA - For one year establishing strategic partnerships, TikTok, Tokopedia, and ShopTokopedia have had a positive impact on more people, as well as encouraging the growth of the digital economy in Indonesia.
The reason is, TikTok, which initially only became a short video sharing platform, has now helped consumers and sellers to market and promote their products to a wider scope in the e-commerce disclosure era.
Communications Director, TikTok Indonesia, Anggini Setiawan emphasized that this was possible thanks to the power of TikTok's discovery, driven by a personalized recommendation system, authentic content, and strong community support.
"In the era of the discovery e-commerce, business actors can achieve more through promotional and marketing content in the form of short to live videos on platforms such as TikTok," said Head of Communications of Tokopedia and TikTok E-commerce, Aditia Grasio Nelwan at the TikTok, Tokopedia and ShopTokopedia Media Gathering Events, Monday, December 23 in Jakarta.
With the available technology, Adit added, business actors who live stream on TikTok experienced a 7-fold increase in sales on ShopTokopedia during 2024.
