Puradelta, A Property Developer Owned By Eka Tjipta Widjaja Conglomerate Earns Marketing Profit Of IDR 288 Billion In Q1 2021

JAKARTA - Property developer of Deltamas Cikarang area, PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk achieved pre-sales or marketing sales of IDR 288 billion in the first quarter of 2021. This achievement is about 11.4 percent of the marketing sales target of DMAS stock-coded companies in 2021 which is recorded at IDR 2 trillion.

However, compared to the pre-sale of the company owned by the boss of Sinar Mas, the late Eka Tjipta Widjaja conglomerate in the same period last year was recorded at IDR 654 billion, a decrease of 55.9 percent. Director of Puradelta Lestari, Tondy Suwanto said that the pre-sales achievement in the first quarter of 2021 mainly came from the sale of 10.4 hectares of industrial land.

"The sale of 10.4 hectares of industrial land mainly comes from the data center sector", Tondy said in a press release, quoted Thursday, April 15.

Tondy explained that buyers of industrial land come from data center players in industrial estates that began to join last year. In 2020 alone, there are approximately 20 hectares of the Company's industrial land sales to data center customers. Furthermore, Tondy Suwanto said that the company's achievements are still in line to achieve the company's marketing sales target of IDR 2 trillion by the end of the year. That is due to the high demand for industrial land that is being negotiated.

"There is still about 75 hectares of demand for industrial land, both from the data center sector, automotive, and other sectors", said Tondy.

For information, this year the company targets pre-sales revenue or marketing sales worth IDR 2 trillion. The target value is 16.31 percent lower than the pre-sales achievement in 2020 of IDR 2.39 trillion.

According to Tondy, the pre-sale target will be supported by the sale of industrial land. Because, the potential for the sale of industrial land remains good in 2021, in line with the demand for industrial land that is still high even though the pandemic period is not over.

Therefore, the marketing sales target of IDR 2 trillion is realistic to achieve. In addition, he explained, the company also continues to develop its residential and commercial areas by launching residential products in 2021 and also equipping commercial facilities to provide comfort for its residents.

"In the future, there will be facilities that pamper residents in Deltamas City, including shopping centers, hospitals, and other commercial facilities that support a dynamic modern lifestyle in the Deltamas City area", said Tondy.
