Syrian Rebels Rebut Rastan City And Talbiseh When Moving To Homs

JAKARTA - Syrian rebels seized two cities on the street from Hama to Homs. Previously, the rebels first occupied Aleppo and Hama/Hamat.

Military Operations Command, a newly formed coalition that launched its attack last week, said it had established control over the cities of Talbiseh and Al-Rastan in the northern countryside of Homs.

The video, which is geolocated by CNN, shows rebel fighters have entered Rastan and Talbiseh, both located on the main M5 highway from Hama to Homs. Talbiseh is only 10 kilometers (6 miles) from Homs.

In the video, fighters are seen driving on a roundabout in Talbiseh, getting out of the vehicle and firing his gun into the air as a celebration.
