Gerindra Refuses To Comment About Jokowi Being Fired By PDIP, Dasco: The Party Has Never Discussed It
JAKARTA - The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, did not want to comment on the PDI-P dismissing the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo and his family.
Dasco also doesn't want to assume that Jokowi, who is no longer a party cadre, will join Gerindra. That's because Gerindra has never discussed this.
"I can't answer because this has never been discussed in the party and I can't on behalf of the Gerindra party in responding to this," said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, December 5.
PDIP also no longer considers Jokowi's son who is also Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and his son-in-law Cawagub North Sumatra Bobby Nasution as cadres.
But specifically Bobby, said Dasco, the Mayor of Medan has been registered as a Gerindra cadre since being fired by PDIP in the last presidential election, and registered as a candidate for governor of North Sumatra in 2024.
"As far as I remember, Mr. Bobby already had a KTA Gerindra when he registered for the North Sumatra gubernatorial election," explained Dasco.
