Chairwoman Of The House Of Representatives Puan Maharani: Ramadan Is A Momentum To Help Each Other
JAKARTA - Chairwoman of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, Puan Maharani invites the public to make this year's Ramadan to increase piety, to train patience, and to increase concern for others.
"Thank God, we meet again with the holy month of Ramadan, although still in a pandemic atmosphere", said Puan in her statement, Tuesday, April 13.
According to Puan, for more than a year, the COVID-19 pandemic has taught all mankind to be more patient and tawakal (to believe in God's plans). As well as more discipline in carrying out health protocols.
"Also it teaches us to care for others, working together to help our brothers and sisters affected by the pandemic", explained the PDIP Party politician.
In this year's Ramadan, the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) for the 2014-2019 period continues to urge the public to remain disciplined in complying with health protocols to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.
"Discipline, patience, tawakal, and caring for others are the values of fasting. Let's apply those values in this holy month. Let's make this fasting month for self-introspection while praying for the pandemic to be resolved quickly", continued the legislator of the electoral district, Central Java V.

Puan also invited the community to help the victims of natural disasters to quickly recover from injuries and other difficulties. Including, the victims of the earthquake in the South Coast region of East Java.
"May the victims and the families of the victims be given strength, immediately recover from the injuries and suffering from the disaster", said Puan Maharani.
