It's So Cheap! Wuling Sells Its Electric Car For IDR 80 Million

JAKARTA – Wuling will release its mini-sized electric car, the Hong Guang MINI EV Macaron. This electric vehicle (EV) also enhances the presence of Hong Guang mini EV mini electric car.

Wuling is a combination of three car companies namely SAIC Motor, General Motors, and Liuzhou Wuling Motors (SGMW). General Motors revealed that this Hong Guang MIN EV Macaron car sold for IDR 83 million to IDR 97 million as revealed by the company.

"Wuling has launched the Hong Guang MINI EV Macaron, a new member of the popular Hong Guang MINI EV family. Two variants featuring new exterior colors and improved safety features", General Motors said as reported by CNBC on Monday, April 4.

Hong Guang MINI EV Macaron is available in three color options, namely Avocado Green, White Peach Pink, and Lemon Yellow. This small electric car made by Wuling has features that have been upgraded from previous versions such as standard airbags, electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), and an anti-lock braking system (ABS).

In addition, there is also a rear parking sensor that is equipped with a camera. The car also comes with a low-speed pedestrian monitoring feature as well as a tire pressure monitoring system.

This Hong Guang MINI EV car has a length of 2.917 mm and a width of 1.493 mm and a height of 1.621 mm. As for the wheelbase, the wheelbase is 1.940 mm. This small electric car made by Wuling can accommodate 4 passengers, including the driver.

The battery of this electric car can travel a distance of up to 170 km. Hong Guang MINI EV riders can monitor charging remotely. This new electric car comes with a maximum speed of 100 km/h.
