JAKARTA - It was reported that 11 people were killed, including a woman and child in a gun attack on a passenger van in Pakistan.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Main Secretary, Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, said the attack targeted a passenger van traveling from Parachinar in Kurram, Thursday, November 21.

No group has claimed responsibility for the incident.

There were two convoys of passenger vehicles, one carrying passengers from Peshawar to Parachinar and another from Parachinar to Peshawar, when gunmen opened fire on them, a Parachinar resident Ziarat Hussain told Reuters by telephone.

Asif President Ali Zardari in his statement strongly condemned the attack on passenger vehicles.
