Minister Of Law And Human Rights Calls Lawsuits For Golkar Management In Administrative Court Loss Of Objects

JAKARTA - Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas said that the lawsuit regarding the decision letter (SK) regarding the ratification of the Golkar Party's AD/ART resulting from the XI National Conference which was currently rolling at the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN) had lost its object.

Supratman explained that Case Number 389/G/2024/PTUN.JKT sued the old decree before the management decree which was just handed over to the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party Bahlil Lahadalia.

"In principle, we are of the view that with the issuance of a new decree, what is being questioned now is not there, it is gone," Supratman said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 20.

According to Supratman, if there are problems related to the decree, other lawsuits should be filed with the object of the latest Golkar Party management decree lawsuit.

"Once again, even if someone questions the new decree, yes, that means they have to file a new lawsuit again," he said.

Although the object of the ongoing lawsuit is considered missing, Supratman said that his party will still follow the legal process. This is because the lawsuit places the Minister of Law and Human Rights as the defendant.

"We will continue to follow the process in court until then the decision comes out," he said.

On the other hand, the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP Bahlil Lahadalia admitted that he did not care about the lawsuit.

According to him, everyone is the same before the law.

"I think it's normal, there's nothing extraordinary. Everyone is the same in the eyes of the law and the process is normal," said Bahlil.

Previously, Ilhamsyah Ainul Mattimu sued the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia Number: M.HH-3.AH.11.03 of 2024 concerning Ratification of Amendments to the Articles of Association and Household Budget of the Group of Works Party which was set in Jakarta on August 22, 2024.

The lawsuit was registered by Ilhamsyah Ainul Mattimu on Monday (21/10). As quoted from the Jakarta PTUN Case Tracing Information System page, Ilhamsyah in his petitum asked the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia as the defendant to revoke the decree in question.
