Michael Saylor Will Make A Party If Bitcoin Breaks 100K At The End Of The Year

JAKARTA - Michael Saylor, co-founder of MicroStrategy, projects the price of Bitcoin (BTC) will pass 100,000 US dollars before the end of 2024. In an interview with CNBC on November 14, 2024, he even planned a 'Bitcoin 10,000 Party' to celebrate the achievement, with a November or December target time.

"I think the party will be held on New Year's Eve at my house," Saylor said. "I would be surprised if we didn't reach 100,000 US dollars in the near future."

Saylor Predicts Bitcoin Will Not Drop To 60,000 US Dollars

At the same time, Saylor also believes that the value of Bitcoin will continue to increase and will no longer fall to the level of 60,000 or 30,000 US dollars. I don't see prices falling to 60,000, let alone 30,000. In my opinion, this will continue to rise from this point," he explained.

Saylor's optimism is based on US political changes, especially under the pro-crypto leadership of Donald Trump. According to him, this condition strengthens the position of Bitcoin in the country. He also does not see a major threat in the near future that could hinder Bitcoin's growth.

Meanwhile, different opinions came from a number of analysts. Keith Alan, co-founder of Material Indicators, predicts Bitcoin could reach 100,000 US dollars on November 28, coinciding with Thanksgiving in the US. However, CryptoQuant's Ki Young Ju gave a different view regarding the potential drop in Bitcoin prices below $59,000 due to the overheated futures market (futures).

Propose US Buy Bitcoin

In a Crypto Cantor conference, Digital Assets & AI Infrastructure on November 13, Saylor discussed the US Strategic Bitcoin Bill. The bill proposes that the US government acquire 1 million Bitcoins in five years, equivalent to 5% of total supply.

Saylor called this step a great opportunity that could provide a profit of up to 16 trillion US dollars in the next 21 years. He also predicts leadership changes at the SEC will bring more friendly regulations against Bitcoin.
