Polda Metro Sets 6 Fugitives In Komdigi Online Gambling Case

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya continues to investigate online gambling cases that were arrested by elements of the Ministry of Communication and Digital or Komdigi. Recent handling developments, investigators published six fugitives in the case.

"Until now, the number of DPOs that have been determined by investigators has increased. Other actors are A alias M, then HF, C, BS, PK, and B," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Friday, November 15.

The fugitives play not only as agents looking for online gambling sites to be 'conditioned'. However, they are also dealers or manage online gambling.

"So some of the DPOs that we mentioned earlier were dealers too. They have a web too, and he also acts as an agent," he said.

In addition to naming six fugitives, investigators are said to have arrested another suspect with the initials HE.

The arrests were made at a hotel in the South Jakarta area on November 15, in the early hours of the morning.

"Investigators managed to arrest one of the initials HE's DPOs," said Ade.

In handling this online gambling case, Polda Metro Jaya previously named 18 suspects, 10 of whom were Komdigi. While the other 8 civilians.

Of the dozens of suspects, three of them are controllers of'satellite offices' used to condition online gambling sites located at the Galaxy Shophouse, South Bekasi.
