Mendes PDT Meets The Minister Of Home Affairs To Discuss Village Programs And Funds
JAKARTA - Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions (Mendes PDT) Yandri Susanto met with the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian to discuss a number of village programs and efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two ministries.
"The Ministry of Villages and the Ministry of Home Affairs have very close and good slices. This collaboration must be maintained and collaboration must continue to be improved," Yandri said at the meeting at the Ministry of Home Affairs Office in Jakarta, Thursday, November 14, which was confiscated by Antara.
In addition to the program and increased cooperation previously established between the Ministry of Villages and the Ministry of Home Affairs, Yandri said the meeting also discussed village funds.
He explained to the Minister of Home Affairs that supervision and utilization of village funds must continue to be improved and must be better.
According to him, this step is important because village funds will be used to support President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka's priority programs, such as food self-sufficiency and energy self-sufficiency as well as free nutritious food.
"We are simplifying the village fund program to support President Prabowo's priority program in terms of food self-sufficiency, energy self-sufficiency, downstreaming, and nutritious healthy eating," he said.

Yandri said, if all village potentials are properly driven, it will increase economic growth.
"If all the potential in the village moves, then economic growth will automatically increase," said Yandri.
In the future, he stated that he would expand his movement directly to the village to accelerate synergy to the village level.
"With the support of the Minister of Home Affairs who has vertical (relations) with the regent and sub-district head, it will accelerate synergy at the village level," he said.
On that occasion, Yandri was accompanied by Deputy Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions Ahmad Riza Patria, Secretary General (Secretary General) of the Ministry of Villages PDT Taufik Madjid, and high-ranking middle officials as well as leaders within the Ministry of Villages PDT.
