Deputy Minister Of Home Affairs: We Make Sure Information From The Ministry Of Home Affairs Always Updates
JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya Sugiarto emphasized the commitment of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) in maintaining public information disclosure (KIP).
"We ensure that the information is always updated, the information is always maintained, both in terms of quality and quantity," Bima said in his statement in Jakarta, Wednesday, November 13, which was confiscated by Antara.
He said that one of these efforts was by issuing a number of regulations as the basis for policy law.
These regulations include the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs (Permendagri) Number 3 of 2017 concerning Guidelines for the Management of Information and Documentation of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Regional Governments. In addition, Permendagri Number 15 of 2024 concerning Guidelines for the Preparation of Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budgets for 2025.
Bima explained that various information regarding the Ministry of Home Affairs can be accessed by the public through the website channel. This information includes leadership profiles, program and activity summarys, as well as information on goods and services that can be accessed by the public.
He ensured that his party provided facilities and infrastructure to support information management. This is like a public information service room that is easily accessible, facilitates people with disabilities, websites of Information and Documentation Management Officials (PPID), and mobile-based PPID applications.
"We also announce to the public that there is a call center that can be accessed related to the implementation of the Pilkada, this is a very crucial momentum, we want residents to be actively involved, to be able to access information and also report it," he said.

On the other hand, he realizes that information can only be used when managed properly. Therefore, the Ministry of Home Affairs continues to strive to increase the capacity of information management human resources (HR), both internally and local governments (Pemda).

Bima added that in order to support President Prabowo's priority program, the Ministry of Home Affairs held a National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) for the Central Government and the 2024 Regional Government which can be accessed by the public through the YouTube channel. Through this activity, the public can understand various strategic programs owned by the government.
"There is also an open dialogue, how after that the public can criticize every program offered, so it is not only a consolidation event but also a dissemination of ideas that can be criticized by the public," he said.
