German Police Arrest 8 Members Of The Right Winged Group Who Plan To Insurgency

JAKARTA - German police have arrested eight suspects as members of a far-right militant group driven by racist ideologies and conspiracy theories practicing war to bring down the modern German state.

The suspects are part of an organization formed in November 2020 called "Saechsische Separatistten", or Saxonia Separatist.

"This is a militant group consisting of 15 to 20 individuals whose ideologies characterize racist, anti-Semitic, and partially apocalyptic ideas," the German federal prosecutor's office said.

Convinced Germany was close to collapsing with the fall of government and the people predicted to occur in Day X that could not be determined, the group trained to use violence to build a new system east of the country inspired by National Socialism, according to investigators.

"If necessary, unwanted groups of people should be expelled from the area through ethnic cleansing," the prosecutor said in a statement.

Those arrested included four suspected founding members, identified as Joerg S., Joern S., Karl K. and Norman T.

Seven suspects were arrested in and around the cities of Leipzig, Dresden, and Meissen in the eastern region. Meanwhile, another suspect was detained in the city of Zgorzelec on the Polish border.
