Great Fire In Karawaci Tangerang Derived From Chemical Warehouse Spreading To Basic Food Warehouse
TANGERANG Tangerang City Fire Department Command Center (Damkar) officer Junaedi explained that the warehouse that caught fire in Karawaci, Tangerang City was a chemical warehouse owned by PT Berdikari, and the Basic Food Warehouse, PT Rusindo.
As of Monday night, October 28, 2024 at 21.00 WIB, the fire had not been extinguished. Junaedi said there were 19 units and dozens of Tangerang City firefighters were deployed.
"Still red and unable to be controlled. The difficulty is because the water source is very limited," said Junaedi, Monday, October 28.
Junaedi said the chemical warehouse and basic food warehouses were in the Indoraya warehousing area.

Initially, the fire broke out in the chemical warehouse of PT Berdikari and spread to the Basic Food Warehouse of PT Rusindo.
"When the chemical warehouse caught fire, PT Berdikari was empty, due to holidays. However, all employees of PT Rusindo's warehouse have been completely evacuated," said Junaedi.
Previously, a local resident named Naufal said that the building that caught fire was a tiner warehouse. There was an explosion before finally the fire and black smoke were seen in the air on Monday, October 28, afternoon.
