South Lebanon's Nabatieh Mayor Dies In Israeli Attack

JAKARTA - Ahmad Kahil, mayor of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, was killed in an Israeli attack on the city's municipality building in the city.

Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported several city workers, including city media officer Mohammad Salim Bitar, were also killed

Lebanese Ministry of Health said previously, five people were killed after Israeli airstrikes hit the municipal building.

Meanwhile, Israel's Defense Forces (IDF) said it attacked dozens of Hezbollah targets in the city to dismantle what they claimed was the underground infrastructure used by Hezbollah militants.
