Hezbollah's Priority Is To Defeat Israel, But Opens Option To Terminate Aggression Through Diplomacy
JAKARTA - Hezbollah are determined to defeat Israel militarily but they are open to any attempt to stop the "aggression".
This was conveyed by the head of the Lebanese media office, Mohammad Afif, on Friday, October 11.
Conflicts between Israel and Hezbollah have escalated in recent weeks, with Israel bombing southern Lebanon, the southern suburbs of Beirut, and the Bekaa Valley, killing many of Hezbollah's main leaders, and sending ground troops to southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah fired further rockets at Israel.
Tel Aviv is just the beginning, Israel sees little of anything," Afif told a news conference.
Our absolute priority at this time is to defeat the enemy and force them to stop aggression. However, any internal or external political effort to achieve an end to aggression will be valued as long as it is consistent with our comprehensive vision of fighting, "he added.
