Rows Of 'Sultan' Bags Confiscated From Riau DPRD PHL Women In Fictitious SPPD Cases

PekanBARU - Riau Police confiscated 15 items of various brands from a female casual daily worker (THL) at the Riau Regional House of Representatives (Setwan) Secretariat with the initials MS.

This confiscation is still related to the case of a fictitious official travel order (SPPD) at the legislative institution.

The Head of Public Relations of the Riau Police, Kombes Anom Caribbeanto, said the case was handled by the Riau Police Criminal Investigation Directorate. When examined, MS admitted that the item was purchased by himself but it was suspected that the flow of funds came from a fictitious SPPD.

"It is strongly suspected that the flow of funds came from other witnesses and was used to buy the goods," he said when confirmed, Antara, Thursday, October 10.

Anom explained that the 15 items consisted of seven bags from the Louis Vuitton, Dior, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent brands. There are also four sandals from Louis Vuitton, Hermes, and Gucci.

"In addition, there are four shoes from the Roger Vivier, Prada, and Dior brands," he said.

He continued, the entire item is estimated at IDR 395 million and has now been designated as evidence. The Ditreskrimsus has so far examined 32 witnesses from 404 witnesses registered in this case.

"However, it is possible that the number of witnesses will continue to increase as the investigation process progresses," he added.

It is known that the alleged fictitious SPPD also dragged the name of Muflihun, who at that time served as Secretary of the Riau DPRD Council and also chairman of the council. Incidentally, both are now also candidates for mayor of Pekanbaru in the 2024 simultaneous regional head elections.
