There Was No News In Lebanon, The Commander Of The Iranian Quds Troops Will Receive A Medal From Khamenei

JAKARTA - Commander of the elite unit of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) abroad, the Quds Troops, Brigadier General Esmail Qa'ani are in good health and will receive medals from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, after there was no news when he traveled to Lebanon.

"Komandan Qa'ani dalam kondisi kesehatan yang sangat baik dan akan menerima medale Fath dari Ketua Tinggi dalam beberapa hari mendatang," kata Brigjen Ebrahim Jabbari, penjelas Brigadier General Qa'ani kepada Tasnim, seperti dikutip 10 Oktober.

Earlier, two senior Iranian security officials told Reuters Commander of the Forces Brigadier General Qa'ani, who traveled to Lebanon after the assassination of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on September 27 in an Israeli airstrike, no news has been heard since further Israeli bombings in southern Beirut late last week.

On Monday, Deputy Commander of the Quds Force Brigadier General Iraj Masjedi denied reports that Brigadier General Qa'ani was injured in an increasingly intensive Israeli airstrike against Hezbollah's targets on the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Iran appointed Brigadier General Qa'ani as military commander and intelligence service of the Guards abroad after the United States killed its predecessor, the late Major General Qassem Soleimani in a drone strike in Baghdad in 2020.

The award that Brigadier General Qa'ani will receive is the Fedh (Conquest) Medal, a military award for Iranian armed forces personnel given by Iran's Supreme Leader.

Prior to Brigadier General Qa'ani, Commander of the Aerospace of the Revolutionary Guard Amir Ali Hajizadeh received the Fath medal from Ayatollah Khamenei on Sunday for his main role in the Iranian missile attack on Israel which was carried out on October 1.

Iran said the October 1 attack was in retaliation for the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Head Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasollah and senior IRGC general Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan. Iran launched about 200 ballistic missiles to the military base and intelligence of the Zionist regime throughout the occupied Palestinian territories.

Iran has been giving Fath medals since 1989 to war heroes, military commanders and politicians, especially those linked to Iran-Irak wars for eight years in the 1980s.
