Pratikno: Prabowo Issues Presidential Decree On Cabinet After Inauguration
JAKARTA - Minister of State Secretary Pratikno said, after being inaugurated as President on October 20, 2024, Prabowo Subianto will issue a Presidential Regulation (Perpres) regarding the names and composition of the cabinet.
"This is the first thing that must be issued by the Presidential Decree regarding the cabinet, what is the name of the cabinet, what is the ministry," said Pratikno during a visit to the journalist room of the Indonesian Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, October 8.
Furthermore, he said, Prabowo as president will issue a presidential decree to fill the ministries listed in the presidential regulation. "After that, then the ministerial inauguration," he said.
Pratikno admitted that he did not know how many ministries the Prabowo-Gibran government would be. However, in principle, the Ministry of State Secretariat is preparing for everything needed later.
"Of course it is Pak Prabowo's authority. We don't know yet, but the principle is that the Ministry of State Secretariat is preparing from now on. The point is stand by," said Pratikno.
The pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates elected in the 2024 election Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka will be sworn in as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024 '2029 period on October 20 at the MPR/DPR/DPD RI Building, Jakarta.
