Huawei Launches FusionSolar, Renewable Energy Technology Towards 2060 Clean Emissions

JAKARTA - Huawei Digital Power launched its newest solar energy solution, FusionSolar, in Indonesia, to encourage the use of clean energy and net-zero emissions targets by 2060.

The initiatives include smart photovoltage (PV) solutions for commercial and residential needs, Battery Energy Storage System (ESS) with hybrid cooling technology, and Smart Charging Network for electric vehicles.

The offered FusionSolar technology focuses on reducing dependence on fossil fuels, utilizing Indonesia's solar power potential, and increasing energy storage efficiency.

Ridha Yasser from the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs & Investment emphasized the importance of technology to achieve the renewable energy target, including the development of solar power up to 421 GWp by 2060.

In line with that, Senda Hurmuzan Kanam as Director of Planning and Development of EBTKE Infrastructure (ESDM) added that Indonesia needs to pursue the target of 23 percent of renewable energy in the energy mix by 2025.

On this occasion, Huawei is also working with local partners in developing solar power infrastructure, including solar PV factories and batteries.

CEO of Huawei Digital Power, Jin Song, emphasized the company's commitment to support Indonesia's renewable energy transition through digital technology, power electronics, and energy management.

According to him, power electronics and digital technology are the main drivers of energy transformation, and renewable energy is the driving force of more than 80 percent of ICT energy infrastructure.

"Huawei continues to develop renewable energy innovations to provide sustainable solutions for customers and answer challenges around the environment," continued Jin Song.
