The Difficulty Of Overcoming Fires In Tabaci Village, Kalideres, Ahead Of Fires Many Break

JAKARTA - Officers admitted that they experienced difficulties in overcoming the fires of dozens of houses on Jalan Utan Jati Kampung Tabaci, RT/RW 03/01 Pegadungan, Kalideres, West Jakarta. starting from a cloudy and distant water source, a broken water hose and a number of objects containing plastic.

"The first difficulty is the water source. The water source here is a bit dirty, the time is a bit cloudy. So, it's a bit difficult," said Head of Operations Section of the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept., Syarifudin, ANTARA, Wednesday, October 2.

Then, his party had taken water at Mookevart River Daan Mogot, but the problem was that the water hose in the car broke several times.

Then, said Syarif, the traffic of Jalan Daan Mogot also caused two tubes measuring 50 meters and 100 meters belonging to officers to burst during the blackout.

In addition, two large plastic stalls that were also burned in the incident made it difficult for officers to extinguish the fire.

"There are two large plastic stalls. The plastic seeds and plastic stalls are quite extensive. And there are also quite a lot of items, making it difficult for us to complete. Then there are also zinc debris that also hinders completion," said Syarif.

However, said Syarif, the fire had been successfully localized at 13.20 WIB until around 17.00 WIB, his party had started the cooling phase.

"The fire news was obtained at 12.17 WIB, then at 13.20 WIB we can localize it. Now it's the completion stage, cooling. It's just because the area is wide, there are lots of piles. Now we need quite a long time to complete it," said Syarif.

Syarif said his party deployed 20 units of fire vehicles and 100 personnel to extinguish the fire.

The four officers experienced fatigue because they had been breathing smoke for too long.

"There were four officers who initially had four, because he took too long," said Syarif.

Furthermore, Syarif continued that until now there were 50 houses burned down in the incident.

"Information on temporary data is that 50 houses are in the form of partnered and semi-permanent houses," said Syarif.

Until now, there have been no reports of casualties due to the fire, including the number of people affected by the incident.
