Iran's Rapid Response To Attack On Israel, France Initiates UN Security Council Meeting

JAKARTA - France initiated a meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UN) which is planned to be held on Wednesday, October 2 afternoon.

Citing Reuters, Wednesday October 2, the planned meeting came after Iran launched hundreds of its ballistic missiles to Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv, Israel on Tuesday, October 1 evening local time.

Pracis' rapid efforts to respond to the Iranian attack included by sending French military resources to the Middle East to fortify Israel.

France also asked Hezbollah, a Lebanese-based militant group, to stop its attack on Israel. Meanwhile, the Israeli military carried out its ground invasion of Lebanon after an invasion of Gaza killed 41,495 people.

Iran's attack on Israel targeted Mossad's headquarters in Tel Aviv in response to the death of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah amid repeated international ceasefire attempts.
