The Flow Of Metric Tons Of Coal Mining From Rita Widyasari To Various Parties Is Investigated By The KPK
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) focuses on investigating the receipt of metric tons of money every coal mining exploration process by former Kutai Kertanegara Regent Rita Widyasari. This process will eventually lead to the completion of the alleged money laundering crime (TPPU).
"So now we are finishing first with the metric ton. That's why there were those (checked, red) in East Kalimantan. We also checked several people in Surabaya, we searched, we confiscated, and others," said KPK Investigation Director Asep Guntur Rahayu to reporters quoted on Friday, September 27.
Asep called this forced effort to find out where the tribute money from the coal mining entrepreneur went. "Well, we just tied it up with money laundering offenses. So that all of them can enter," he said.
Asep on different occasions explained that the money that Rita received from coal entrepreneurs reached 3.3 US dollars to 5 dollars per metric ton per exploration was carried out.

As previously reported, Rita Widyasari was named a suspect along with Commissioner of PT Media Bangun Bersama, Khairudin on January 16, 2018. Both are suspected of washing money from the results of project and licensing gratuities at the Kutai Kertanegara Provincial Government worth Rp436 billion.
Rita is currently a resident of Pondok Bambu Women's Prison, East Jakarta because she was proven to have received gratuities of Rp. 110.7 billion and bribes of up to Rp. 6 billion from permit applicants and project partners. He had to serve a sentence of 10 years in prison which was handed down by the Jakarta Corruption Court on July 6, 2018.
In this money laundering case, the KPK has confiscated vehicle attributes consisting of cars and motorbikes to billions of rupiah.
The forced effort was made after investigators searched nine offices and 19 houses including those belonging to a coal entrepreneur from East Kalimantan, Said Amin.
