Tanah Amblas Di Balangan Kalsel, 11 Rumah Terdampak, 2 Ambruk

SOUTH KALIMANTAN - Tanah collapsed causing 11 houses belonging to residents along the river in Simpang Tiga Village, Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan (Kalsel), two of which collapsed.

Rahmi said the crack in length reached approximately 35 meters with a width of approximately 20 meters and a height of 8 meters.

Rahmi said the collapsed land caused two of the 11 houses affected to collapse completely, four collapsed 50 percent and the remaining five were only affected.

Currently, said Rahmi, his party together with residents and the authorities have evacuated and rescued objects or belongings of residents whose houses were affected by the collapsed land.

"For the current handling, we continue to move according to the development situation in the field," he said.

In addition, for the construction of emergency tents, his party is still coordinating with local officials and victims. If necessary, a temporary evacuation tent will be built in collaboration with the local Social Service Tagana.

Rahmi appealed to people whose houses were in the vicinity of the incident, to increase their vigilance and be more careful and hopefully there will be no further subsidence of the land.
