The residential relocation area for victims of flash floods in Ternate, North Maluku (Malut) is ready to be built.
The Head of PUPR for Ternate City, Rus'an M Nur, said that the location of the 2.6 hectare relocation around the Jambula area had just been cleared.
"For two weeks, the process of cleaning up new residential areas for flood victims is because a simple healthy instant house will be built," he said in Ternate, Tuesday, September 24, was confiscated by Antara.
As is known, the simple houses for victims of the Rua flash flood that were built by PUPR were 27 units.
Rus said this simple instant house would be realized quickly so that flood victims could occupy it as soon as possible.
In addition, the Ternate City Government will make adjustments to the Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) to adjust environmental changes in Ternate City which often change due to natural disasters, especially for the Rua Ternate area.
"Of course, we will adjust the existing RT RW because the environmental situation has changed as well. Including yesterday when a disaster occurred in Rua Village and it will definitely be our concern to determine locations that should not be inhabited by residents," he said.

As is known, the Ministry of PUPR has repaired river flow and built infrastructure along rivers or times of death in the flash flood area in Rua, Ternate.
PUPR has also repaired river flow and made sabo dam along riverbanks in the Rua area to control water, because it is a flow natural disaster control system that carries sediments such as flash floods, volcanic and lava flows, and soil movement, which is established in the flow path in the mountains.
