Facing The 2025 DIY XVII Porda, Gunungkidul Regent Focuses On Building The Tribune Of Gelora Handayani Stadium
DIY - Gunungkidul Regent Sunaryanta asked for construction at the Gelora Handayani Stadium in Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY), to be prioritized for closed stands and additional VIP stands so that they can be used in the 2025 DIY XVII Porda.
The Regent saw firsthand the construction of the stands and additional VIP stands, then checked the running track and changed the grass on the football field. In addition, the Regent took the time to plant grass at the Gelora Handayani Stadium.
"Improving the Gelora Handayani Stadium cost IDR 5.8 billion. The 8th week of implementation or progress has succeeded in completing the 62 percent work or a 26 percent positive difference," said Sunaryanta in Gunungkidul, Tuesday, September 24, which was confiscated by Antara.
His party also prioritizes work on changing soccer court grass, running track, renovation and construction of closed stands and additional VIP stands.
"One of the improvements to the Gelora Handayani Stadium is in preparation for the XVII DIY Regional Sports Week (Porda) in 2025," said the Regent.

He also emphasized that in the implementation of the XVII DIY 2025 Porda, all match venues are expected to be held in Gunungkidul. One of them maximizes Gelora Handayani Stadium as the main venue.
"You have to prepare from an early age so that the implementation of the upcoming XVII Regional Police can run smoothly, both successful and successful," said the Regent.
Head of the Gunungkidul Youth and Sports Agency (Dispora) Supriyanto said the target for completing rehabilitation and stadium construction is to be faced with completion on November 23, 2024.
