Meet Jokowi At The Palace, Muhammadiyah Thank You For The Program For 10 Years Of Supporting
Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Central Executive (PP) Haedar Nashir thanked President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) for almost 10 years working together and supporting Muhammadiyah programs ranging from the education, health, to social sectors.
"When the President first took office in 2014, we also stayed in touch and at the end of the period in the 10th year we also visited to express our appreciation, respect, and gratitude to PP Muhammadiyah to President Joko Widodo," Haedar said at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, after meeting President Jokowi, Tuesday, September 17, was confiscated by Antara.
He continued, "who together with the cabinet and government ranks in these two periods worked together, supporting each other for Muhammadiyah programs in the fields of education, health, social, economy, and various other programs that Alhamdulillah went well".
According to Haedar, the cooperation programs between Muhammadiyah and the government are going very well, even reaching remote, outermost, and underdeveloped (3T) areas.
"The Muhammadiyah cooperation programs with the government are quite positive to the farthest, frontier, and disadvantaged areas in Papua, NTT, and so on," said Haedar.

Muhammadiyah, he continued, also appreciated the infrastructure projects that had been built during President Jokowi's administration, including the development of the capital city of the archipelago (IKN).
"We also appreciate the infrastructure programs and various programs that have been developed so far, including IKN," he said.
In the meeting with the President, said Haedar, Muhammadiyah also discussed the development of human resources (HR) in the future as well as high scientific and competitive mastery.
"We know that our human development index, the competitiveness of our nation, and also the IQ of the Indonesian nation are still lagging behind and this is a shared task, not only the government, but also the strengths of the community, including Muhammadiyah to schedule strategic steps in the future for the field of human resources," said Haedar.
