Equipped With Advanced Facilities, Kia Officially Opens A Global Training Center In Malaysia
JAKARTA - Kia inaugurated the 'Kia Asia Pacific' Training Center in Malaysia which became the fifth in the world after Germany, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.
Located in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, this training center is ready to be at the forefront of developing an innovation and service culture, as a role model for all regions in Asia Pacific.
In addition, this training center is also to provide briefing to operational staff, sales, after-sales for various subsidiaries and Automotive Training Excellence distributors.
Kia Asia Pacific president and CEO Kevin Ahn said the opening of this training center was in line with the company's philosophy of developing culture and prioritizing customers, and focusing on employees.
"This training center is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to making sustainable improvements. This is to ensure that we can provide high-quality services that exceed customer expectations," he said, in his official statement, Saturday, September 14.

He said the selection of Malaysia to be the next destination was thanks to its strategic location, allowing the company to meet the growing needs of the industry.
"At the same time to keep our team at the forefront of technological advances. Various talents and strong language skills in Malaysia further emphasize that this country is the ideal choice for our training center," he said.
There are various advanced facilities at the training center that cover high-tech classrooms for theoretical teaching, a complete workshop for practice sessions, computerized resource centers for Kia vehicle information, virtual repair simulators, and special equipment such as Kia diagnostic equipment.
The latest Kia flagship models including EV6 and EV9, as well as upcoming models such as EV5 and EV3, are also available for live training.
Kia targets to train up to 3,000 people each year to support 34 countries in the Asia Pacific region, and can accommodate up to 80 training participants at one time.
