Not America, Venom: The Last Dance Chooses To Show First In China
JAKARTA - Venom: The Last Dance film gets the release date first in China. Different from other Hollywood films, this film will air on October 23, 2024 before airing in North America.
Quoting Variety, all films that will enter China must follow import and censor regulations. As a result, before it aired to the public, these films went through the selection process so that the film could be watched by viewers of all ages.
These requirements are mandatory requirements in China. Venom: The Last Dance uses this opportunity to earn a large income.
In 2018, Venom's first film became the first film to get 262 million US dollars for release in China. The revenue is much greater than the film's earnings in the North American area.
