Rapimnas Gerindra Proposes 2025 Congress To Advance To February
BOGOR - The Gerindra Party National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) proposed holding a congress in 2025 from August to February to coincide with the party's anniversary.
"The meeting asks that the Gerindra party congress, which is planned for August next year, can be moved forward in February along with the anniversary of the Gerindra Party," said Gerindra Party Secretary General Ahmad Muzani as reported by ANTARA, Friday, August 30.
He said that at the upcoming congress the cadres would ask Prabowo Subianto's willingness to return to being the General Chair and Chairman of the Gerindra Party's Board of Trustees for the next five years.
"And ask Pak Prabowo's willingness to lead as general chairman and chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees for the next five years," said Muzani.
According to him, Rapimnas is a forum that is really used for internal consolidation and coaching.

At the Rapimnas which will be held for two days on 30-31 August 2023, Prabowo Subianto as chairman of Gerindra expressed his gratitude to all cadres for the success of the 2024 Presidential Election.
"So, in the 2024 presidential election, we succeeded in convincing the Indonesian people. He felt this was a long, tireless struggle of all the Gerindra Party structures and levels, so he felt the need to express his gratitude," said Muzani.
The Rapimnas, which has been opened by Prabowo Subianto, is scheduled to be closed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on the second day at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Arena Jakarta.
"This national leadership meeting is a meeting which is the highest decision-making forum under the congress," said Muzani.
