60 Cakada In DOB And Papua Will Undergo Mental Test At RSJ Jayapura
JAKARTA - At least 60 pairs of candidates for regional heads (cakada) who will advance in the 2024 Pilkada in the new autonomy (DOB) and Papua Province will undergo a psychiatric examination at the Abepura Regional Mental Hospital (RSJ), Jayapura.
Abepura Regional RSJ Director Guy Yanna Ema Come said the examination would include candidate pairs of governors and deputy governors, candidate pairs of regents and deputy regents as well as candidate pairs of mayors and deputy mayors.
"We cannot confirm that the province in the DOB in Papua, because related to this health check, it entered one door, namely at the Dok II Jayapura Hospital," he said in Jayapura, Friday, August 30, which was confiscated by Antara.
"According to Ema, the examination stage will be carried out after the registration stage and according to technical instructions (Juknis) the KPU regulations will be carried out for three days, namely August 30 to September 1, 2024," he said.
He explained that the standard for examination there are two categories, namely psychological tests which include the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MPI) test, which is a procedure that is made to determine or detect mental disorders in a person and the second is an interview test.
"After that, the intelligence test aims to find out exactly about someone's cognitive advantages or disadvantages," he said.

He added that these two instruments will be carried out by answering the questions that have been compiled by the RSJ medical team, after the psychological test of prospective candidates will take the interview test.
"There are 500 questions that must be answered by each prospective candidate and the time provided for three hours, followed by an interview test for two hours," he said.
He said for health workers, his party had prepared doctors, specialists, psychologists assisted by nurses and the medical team.
