4 Months Of Debut, Hyunny Leaves VVUP Group Due To Health

JAKARTA - Not even a year of debut, Hyunny chose to leave the K-pop group VVUP. The agency stated that the reason for health was the reason he resigned from his position.

"Thank you for the support from fans, VVUP was able to complete Ain't Nobody's promotion. We want to thank you once again, but we have to deliver some news," said the agency, egoENT.

While he has been active since pre-debut in March, VVUP leader Hyunny could not continue his activities as a VVUP member for health reasons, the agency said.

The agency explained that during the promotion period, Hyunny tried to undergo the recovery process and the agency also monitored its progress. They did not reveal specific health reasons.

"After discussing, it was decided that Hyunny would focus on recovering," the agency said.

"We are very sorry for the shocking news and caused fans," he continued.

VVUP debuted in April after undergoing pre-debut activities for two weeks in March. Hyunny was born in 2005 as a YG Entertainment trainee.

Hyunny has also auditioned for the My Teenage Girl program in 2021.
