Mother And Missing Child After Floods And Landslides In Southern Italy
JAKARTA - Two mothers and children were reported missing after heavy rains triggered floods and landslides in southern Italy, local media reported.
Heavy rain for two days had an impact on the north and central parts of Italy.
The heavy rain caused severe flooding in several provinces in the south, including the Campania area, ANSA news agency said late Tuesday.
Reported by ANTARA from Anadolu, Wednesday, August 28, authorities said people were declared missing, namely a mother and one other person, in Talanico, San Felice a Cancello, after landslides caused by high rainfall.

Posts on social media showed houses and shops submerged in water, while several drivers were trapped in their vehicles on roads affected by floods and landslides.
