The General Election Commission (KPU) of DKI Jakarta Province has begun to open registration of candidate pairs (paslon) for the Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta simultaneously from today, August 27 to Thursday, August 29, 2024.Chairman of the DKI Jakarta KPU Wahyu Dinata said that there would be no candidate pair for the Jakarta cagub-cawagub who registered on the first day."What is certain is that today there will be no candidate pairs who will attend. But we will still receive help desks for consultation for the LO team (liaison officer), a team of candidate pairs who want to attend today's registration place," Wahyu said at the DKI Jakarta KPU Office, Senen, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, August 27.On the first and second days, the KPU served the registration of Jakarta cagub-cawagub from 08.00 to 16.00 WIB. On the third day or last day, the KPU opened registration until 23.59 WIB."Furthermore, it will be received, we will check the files in question," said DKI Jakarta KPU member Astri Megatari.When registering, the cagub-cawagub pair is required to bring a number of documents, starting from the nomination decree from political parties for those who are not individual channels, diplomas, police records certificates, and several other required documents."This will be uploaded to the Silon application, including the vision and mission script and the program of the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor who must refer to the regional long-term development plan (RPJPD)," explained DKI Jakarta KPU member Dody Wijaya.It is planned that Ridwan Kamil-Suswono will register as a candidate for the 2024 Pilkada to the DKI Jakarta KPU Office on Wednesday, August 28 or the second day of registration for regional head candidates at 14.30 WIB.Meanwhile, there will be an independent candidate for lane, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana will register on the last day. Then, the DKI Jakarta KPU has not received confirmation of the registration schedule from other Jakarta cagub-cawagub candidates.After registering, the Jakarta cagub-cawagub pair will undergo a health check in line with the verification of registration documents carried out by the KPU. Health checks are scheduled for August 30 to September 1.
"So, for example, those who have been confirmed to attend Mr. RK and Suswono on the 28th, will conduct a medical check on the 30th. Then the next examination will come on the 31st, another will be on September 1," added Dody.
