Threatened To Be Boycotted By Netizens, Raffi Ahmad: It's Normal
JAKARTA - Celebrity Raffi Ahmad tried to respond to the call for boycott to be made by netizens because he was considered pro-government during the momentum of the action against the 2024 Pilkada Bill yesterday.
Previously, Raffi had clarified the reason he did not upload the image of the call for the blue Garuda Emergency Commemoration.
He explained that at that time he was in Bandung to help his younger brother who would run for the upcoming 2024 Pilkada. Incidentally, at the event, Gibran Rakabuming and Zulkifli Hasan were also present.
"When my friends were at the demonstration, I was in Bandung for business, right, my sister, also happened to want to run. Incidentally there was Mas Gibran, Mr. Zulkifli Hasan, just a coincidence, but people were thinking strange things," explained Raffi Ahmad, quoted by VOI from FYP Trans7, Tuesday, August 27.
Unfortunately, as a result of this incident, there was finally a call to boycott products affiliated with him and his wife Nagita Slavina.
This boycott was first uploaded via a base account on X or Twitter, @tanyakanrl. Seeing this, Raffi Ahmad said that this incident would definitely pass. "The storm will pass," said Raffi Ahmad in the Phantom PIK 2 area, Tangerang, Monday, August 26.

For him, incidents like this are common to him because previously he was also accused of money laundering. Raffi emphasized that the most important thing for him was to give the best for Indonesia.
"I'm used to it, it's said that money laundering is a storm that will pass. What is certain is that we will do our best for Indonesia," he said.
