Army Chief Of Staff Orders TNI AD Officials Who Newly Understand The Needs Of Soldiers
JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak ordered newly appointed TNI AD officials at the TNI AD Headquarters, Jakarta, to pay attention to the needs of soldiers, both for their training, operations, and welfare.
Maruli, while chairing the handover ceremony for the positions of 12 high-ranking TNI AD officers, also asked them to continue to innovate and develop creativity to advance their respective units.
"Thank you for the service in each position. Hopefully in a new place we can make good things for members and advance the Indonesian Army," said KSAD Maruli when giving a mandate to new officials during the sertijab event, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 20.
During the event, there were 12 high-ranking TNI AD officers who were inaugurated by the Army Chief of Staff to fill new positions. They are Major General TNI Mohamad Hasan as Commander of the Strategic Reserve Command of the Indonesian Army (Pangkostrad), Major General TNI Rafael Granada Baay as Pangdam Jaya, Major General TNI Rudy Saladin as Pangdam V/Brawijaya, Major General TNI Muhammad Zahroni as Pangdam IX/Udayana.
Major General TNI Rudi Puruwito as Pangdam XVII/Cendrawasih, Brigadier General Christian Kurnianto Tehuturu as Assistant Operations for Army Chief of Staff, Major General TNI Eko Susetyo as Commander of the Central Armed Forces (Danpussenkav), Brigadier General Zainuddin as Commander of the Indonesian Army Aviation Center (Danpuspenerbad).

Then, there is also Brigadier General Dr. Sugiarto as Head of the Indonesian Army Health Center (Kapuskesad), Major General TNI Dr. dr. Sukirman as Deputy Head of the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital Jakarta, Colonel Hendi Suhendi as Director of Topography of the Indonesian Army, and Colonel Inf. Wahyu Yudhayana as Head of the Information Service of the Indonesian Army (Kadispenad).
In the event, which took place behind closed doors, the Army Chief of Staff explained that the handover of positions within the Indonesian Army was a need for organizations to adapt to the development of the strategic environment.
In the same event, General Maruli also thanked the old officials, because they had contributed to the progress of the Indonesian Army.
