The Perpetrator Of The Kebon Sereh Pospol Attack Did Not Have An ID Card
BM, the perpetrator of the attack and destruction of the Kebon Sereh Pospol, did not have an identity card (KTP) himself when carrying out the attack. The perpetrator only wore shorts and shirtless when attacking the police station.
"When we secured it, we did not secure the identity at all," said Matraman Police Chief Kompol Suprasetyo to VOI, Tuesday, August 20.
In addition, the police also did not find any sharp objects and other dangerous objects from the body of the BM perpetrator.
"No weapons were found at the ID card. The perpetrators were empty-handed," he said.

Furthermore, Police Commissioner Suprasetyo said the attack began when the perpetrator with the initials BM came to the Kebon Sereh Police Headquarters alone.
"The perpetrator came and sat on the terrace. Then he was called the Head of the Police, instead he went inside and attacked the Kapospol," he said.
For this incident, the victim of the Kebon Sereh Police Chief, Iptu Sugiyanto, was not injured. The victim managed to escape from the perpetrator's strangulation.
"Thank God the Kapospol was not injured at all, thank God it was safe," he said.
