Update On COVID-19 As Of March 25: 6.107 New Cases, 1.482.559 Accumulated Cases
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) releases the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. A total of 81.091 specimens were examined with a total of 6.107 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 1.482.559 people and 125.279 active cases", the Ministry of Health was quoted as saying, Thursday, March 25.
Cases recovered today increased by 4.656 cases so that a total of 1.317.199 people recovered. Then, the confirmed positive cases who died increased by 98 people and a total of 40.081 people.
The province with the newest cases is in DKI Jakarta with 1.726 cases and a total of 375.487 cases. Followed by West Java which has 1.172 new cases with a total of 244.921 cases. Central Java has 505 new cases and a total of 166.773 cases. Meanwhile, East Java has 348 new cases and a total of 137.834 cases.
The province with the most cases recovered today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an increase of 1.147 recovered cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with an increase of 719 recovered cases, Central Java with an increase of 524 recovered cases, and East Kalimantan with an increase of 379 recovered cases.
There is one province that reported zero new cases as of today. The province that reported zero new cases is North Maluku.

"Positive results per number of specimens examined or this week's positivity rate of 20.13 percent", he wrote.
For the number of people suspected of having contracted COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, it was recorded at 48.914 people. Currently, 510 districts/cities from 34 provinces have COVID-19 cases.
Currently, 6.389.837 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination, and 2.941.016 vaccinated against the second dose. Meanwhile, the total vaccination targets reached 40.349.051 people.
