Bamsoet Hopes Prabowo-Gibran Can Maintain National Development Continuity
Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Bambang Soesatyo alias Bamsoet hopes that the elected President and Vice President Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka can maintain the continuity of national development.
"We need to continue to maintain this momentum together and maintain it. This task is certainly not light because challenges will continue to come, both from within and outside," said Bamsoet at the MPR/DPR/DPD RI Annual Session which was held at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, August 16.
According to Bamsoet, the development process that has been carried out by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has created a bridge that connects every island, village, and community with new expectations and opportunities.
Bamsoet emphasized that Indonesia has planned great ideals to jump into a high-income country equivalent to developed countries by 2045.
"These great aspirations require our shared commitment, which has been started by President Joko Widodo by setting two priority strategies towards Indonesia Gold 2045, namely through industrial downstreaming, and human resource development," he explained.

Bamsoet said President Jokowi continued to encourage Indonesia to move forward and prove it to be a big country.
In line with Trisakti Bung Karno's vision, that as a great nation, we must be able to be sovereign in the political field, be independent in the economic field, and have a personality in culture.
"In terms of relay, the next government must continue to fight for this vision," he said.
In addition, Bamsoet also congratulated Prabowo and Gibran on the mandate given by the Indonesian people.
"To the President and Vice President Elected for the 2024-2029 Period, Mr. General TNI Retired H. Prabowo Subianto and Mr. Gibran Rakabuming Raka, B.Sc., in addition to congratulating the mandate given by the Indonesian people, we also hope for the continuity of national development," he said.
