Is This What The Audio Chat Clubhouse Looks Like On Facebook?

JAKARTA - It is reported that Facebook will soon release a Clubhouse-style audio chat service on its platform. Not only the audio room, but this Facebook version of Clubhouse also includes a video feature for its users.

Quoting from the page of Ubergizmo, a developer Alessandro Paluzzi through his Twitter account, the interface of the Facebook version of the Clubhouse service. Not only that, but it was also revealed that this feature could be integrated with Instagram.

"Facebook is developing support for video and audio rooms. This means that users do not need to switch to Messenger to be able to join these chat rooms", wrote Alessandro Paluzzi.

As seen from the screenshots it shares, users can choose between making the live audio room public or private. Underneath it will also say Create Video complete with the + button in the video logo.

The public audio room will be available to all Facebook users. Meanwhile, for private mode, this means that this audio room will only be available to the user's Facebook friends.

For those who are not familiar, Clubhouse is an audio-chat application that allows users to enter chat rooms to listen to conversations. To join the Clubhouse, users must first get an invitation or invite.

Now in the last few months, this application has grown in popularity because it has been used by top celebrities and figures, such as Oprah, Drake to Elon Musk. So it's quite natural that Facebook wants to create their own version of the Clubhouse.

Facebook may have been a little late in adopting a feature that is currently viral. Moreover, other competitors have already provided similar services, namely Telegram with Voice Chat 2.0, then there is Twitter which recently introduced Spaces beta for Android users.
