Wahidin In A State Of Drunkness When Burning House, He Was Annoyed That His Wife Was Not At Home

Wahidin, the perpetrator of the burning of a house in Cilincing, North Jakarta, finally became a suspect after undergoing examination at the Cilincing Police. Wahidin burned down his house in a drunken state.

Cilincing Police Chief Kompol Fernando Saharta Saragi said the perpetrator was charged with Article 187 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 12 years in prison.

"We have detained him at the Cilincing Police Headquarters Detention Center", Fernando told reporters, Tuesday, August 13.

Fernando told that the incident began when the perpetrator and his wife had a big argument. The next day, when his wife left the house, the perpetrator looked for the whereabouts of Beliana.

"Because he didn't come home either, around noon he was drunk, the influence of alcohol, the person concerned called again. Video call again via his son's cellphone. Through his son's cellphone, he threatened, if he didn't come home he would burn his wife's clothes," he said.

Those words are not an ordinary threat, it turns out that they really did something wrong. When it happened there was the victim's family who intended to extinguish the fire, but it was forbidden by the perpetrators.

Then all those in the house came out along with the perpetrator. The perpetrator is suspected of being drunk. For the initial motive, it was suspected that the perpetrator carried out the action because there was a miscommunication that was called by his wife. After the incident, the North Jakarta Damkar managed to extinguish the fire. The perpetrator was soon arrested by the police.

Regarding the nature of the perpetrators having easily emotional behavior, Fernando said that his party was still investigating.

"For temperamental problems, psychological problems, other problems, we are still investigating. This is still our initial statement, the police that the person concerned has been arrested and detained," he concluded.
