South Jakarta City Government Builds 5 Refugee Command Posts For Manggarai Fire Victim Service
JAKARTA - The City Government (Pemkot) of South Jakarta (Jaksel) will establish 5 refugee posts in the Manggarai area, Tebet, South Jakarta. The command post was created as a temporary residence for the victims of the Manggarai fire.
It is known that 3 RWs on Jalan Remaja 5, Manggarai, Tebet, South Jakarta were affected by the fire on Tuesday, August 13, at 02.30 WIB.
"We have planned and prepared approximately 5 evacuation points," said Deputy Mayor of South Jakarta, Edi Sumantri when confirmed, Tuesday, August 13.
Edi revealed that the establishment of this refugee post also involved several elements ranging from the Social Service, Baznas DKI Jakarta and South Jakarta.
"Each of the refugees is supported by posts from various elements of the Social Service. (The point is) All ranks in South Jakarta and assisted by the DKI Baznas, South Jakarta Baznas and all registered NGOs are ready to help," he said.

"Our preparation for handling the next 7 days is prepared for logistics for food and drinks in clean water, and refugee camps, hopefully, the day will decrease, the better the handling," he continued.
Not only that, the South Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukcapil) was also deployed. This is intended for residents who lost important documents in their homes after the fire.
"Perhaps there are residents who need to reprint if their diplomas are burned, then from the KUA, also from the health element if there are residents in need, everything is in each of these posts," he concluded.
