YouTube Launches The Experimental Sleep Team Feature For Premium Customers

JAKARTA YouTube continues to update the experimental testing page with a new feature. Recently, the platform under Google added a Sleep Timer feature for Premium users to test. Timer Sleep on YouTube is not much different from the one on YouTube Music. Using this feature, YouTube users can choose and set the desired time duration to provide a pause in video playback. "sleep Timer allows you to tune the timer to pause playback automatically after a certain timeframe," YouTube said on the experimental testing page. If you want to use this feature, users must register first. To register, users can open YouTube in the mobile app or web version on desktop. After that, play any video, then open the Settings menu. In the Premium Benefit section, users will see the Experimental Trial menu.

Select the menu, then search for the Sleep Timer feature. Next, click the Try button Now that is visible on the screen. Just like any other experimental feature, Sleep Timer has a time limit. After September 2, this feature can no longer be tried by premium users. Timer Sleep will be removed from the experimental testing page and may be added back as an official feature. However, keep in mind that not all experimental features will be added to the YouTube app. Apart from Sleep Team, premium users can also try the available Dream Screen experimental feature until August 21. This feature can add an AI-based green screen background when creating videos for YouTube Shorts.
