Cikarang Optimized As KRL Integrated Station To Long-distance Train
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta has optimized Cikarang Station as a station that has integration for users of the electric train (KRL), local trains (KA), and long-distance trains.
"The transportation services at Cikarang Station are, local trains have 14 trips including departures and arrivals (while 12 trips), KRL has 77 trips including departures and arrivals, and 39 long-distance trains including departures and arrivals," said KAI Daop 1 Public Relations Manager Jakarta, Ixfan Hendriwintoko, Sunday, August 11.
Ixfan said Cikarang Station had served 7,755,558 KRL passengers.
"Local train passengers boarded from Cikarang Station as many as 983,392 passengers, while the volume of passengers arriving at Cikarang Station was 1,025,551 passengers, if the accumulation during that period had served 2,008,943 local train passengers," he said.
Not only local trains and KRL, Ixfan said, the volume of long-distance train passengers increased quite significantly.

From Cikarang Station as many as 189,874 passengers departed while the volume of passengers arriving at Cikarang Station was 153,886 passengers.
"If accumulated during that period, it has served 398,610 long-distance train passengers," he said.
