Karel Murafer Leads In The 2024 Maybrat Regency Pilkada Survey

JAKARTA The latest survey conducted by the Research of the Losta Institute Accurate shows that Karel Murafer occupies the top position in the regional head election of Maybrat Regency. This survey was conducted between 22 and 29 July 2024 involving 440 respondents using multistage sampling techniques random sampling. The results show that Karel Murafer is the most known and liked regent candidate by the public.

Karel Murafer achieved the highest recognition rate of 85.0%. He is far ahead of his closest competitor, Agustinus Tenau, who has an recognition rate of 82.2%. Shape Kambu, is in third place with 77.0%, while Marthen Howey, and Ferdinandus Taa are fourth and fifth with recognition figures of 73.1% and 72.8%, respectively. Other regent candidates have recognition rates below 70%.

In terms of electability, Karel Murafer also showed a significant advantage with an electability rate of 31.6%. He led far ahead of Agustinus Tenau who won 17.3%, followed byLAy Kambu with 15.2% and Marthen Howey with 15.0%. Support for other regent candidates is much lower, indicating that the main competition is centered on these names.

When asked about their choice if the election was held today, respondents showed strong support for Karel Murafer, with Agustinus Tenau, Marijuana Kambu, and Marthen Howey following behind. In the simulation of the choice between the two candidates, Karel Murafer remained superior to Agustinus Tenau and Marthen Howey.

At the vice regent's candidate level, Ferdinandus Taa led with support of 21.1%. He was followed by kambu with 20.7% and Ferdinando Salossa, who won 13.9%. Support for other deputy regent candidates is lower, suggesting that competition in this position is also quite tight.

Karel Murafer himself is known to be paired with Ferdinado Sollosa from the Golkar Party in the upcoming Maybrat Pilkada.

This survey provides a clear overview of the dynamics of the Maybrat Regency Pilkada ahead of the election on November 27, 2024. With Karel Murafer holding the top position as a candidate for the main regent, and intense competition at the vice regent candidate level, the upcoming election is expected to be very interesting.
